Cameron Highlands Trip Overview

people love travel, so do I. I always wish that I could travel to oversea in order to explore everything which I have never explore yet. And I firmly believe that by traveling and exploring the others' lifestyle, people can only then understand how tiny they are in this world. if travel can be categorized as a hobby, let it be mine. However, this hobby is strictly restricted by the money matter. You want to travel? 'course you can if you got the money! It is simply undeniable that money does matter. Thus I have decided to save up a lot of money for holidays trips to somewhere farther. in the process of saving up money to somewhere farther, I had traveled with friends to somewhere nearer and apparently it did not cost me too much of money.  it was a nation of flower. Nation?! Hmmm... countryside to be exact. All the veggie and fruits there are as fresh as daisy. Everyday. according to Wikipedia, Cameron Highlands is actually a district in Pahang. I, as a geograp...

Year 6 Graduation Trip 2009 EP 3

Day 3, Genting Highlands the fun never stops at Genting, the City of Entertainment. The First World outdoor or indoor theme park and the only casino in Malaysia are the most popular attractions to attract the locals and foreigners to visit. I love Genting too. However, neither the theme park nor casino attracts me. Instead, I love its "European" weather very much. It is cool and breezy all the time. in order to enjoy the weather at the 2000 altitude Genting, you have to take a tram. Hmmm... I do not like it actually. As you looking down from the tram, it is really bloody hell horrifying. 2 years ago, that was the very first time I went to Genting Highland Outdoor Theme Park. Due to my youthfulness, I had challenged the Flying Coaster. It is a unique hand-gliding roller coaster. 2 years later, I did not re-challenge it for a simple reason: I AM AGEING. The heart could not take it. in the end, the colleagues and I went to challenge the another ride, i.e. Pirate Ship. who says i...

Year 6 Graduation Trip 2009 EP 2

I am ageing. The shoulder pain is ailing me now. And the troubled heart is not yet fully-recover from the side-effect of coughing. Poor me. not going to work on tomorrow. Instead, I am assigned to take part in a Bengkel Laman Web which is organized by Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah on tomorrow morning. Thanks to Ling Fang and En. Jamal for sketching the road map and were giving a detailed explanation. By having both of their info, I was managed to find the location with old mama just now. The place is somewhere nearby the Petronas building. That was really the very first time I drove to somewhere that far away from where I am currently stay. Hopefully tomorrow morning I am able to travel here and there alone safely. ~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~** Day 2, Kuala Lumpur & Selangor this was the second day of the trip. After the breakfast, we went to the National Monument. Again, I was been there before. It is best to visit when the weather is not that hot as you could not find any shelter at th...

Year 6 Graduation Trip 2009 EP 1

no kidding. The sinseh asked me to rest more. And I think I really should. Well, it is really unworthy of exchanging your healthy with money, frankly speaking. starting from August until now, I am leading a hectic life which I have had never experience it before. I was once think that I am strong enough to survive from the pressure but in fact, I was wrong. I am constantly under pressure and my health broke down under the pressure of work in the end. Again, it has proved that I am not the one who can work under pressure. Hmmm... it is time to learn how to be good to myself. during the holidays of Hari Raya Puasa , I was assigned to the task of taking care those Standard 6 students in their graduation trip. It was a 6 days 5 nights trip. Much of fun but exhausted. Some places I had been there before while some are not. Day 1, Malacca it was the third time I went to there. Nothing much different. However, I wondered if those Europeans are not longer like to travel in Malaysia. Finding o...

Back to Nature

on the Sunday night, I was came back from the organic farm which is located in Negeri Sembilan. Back to nature. I had a two-days-one-night trip at Titi Eco Farm or known as 知知港 in Mandarin, on the last weekend. Had pampered myself with non-polluted air, herbal remedies and beauty of nature. Titi Eco Farm is an unique management system integrating an organic farm, a resort and an in-farm factory. The fruits and vegetables are all grown in chemical-free environment. Not to forget, they plant herbs too. throughout the entire trip, we had to digest plethora of info related to herbs and organic farming. Meanwhile, I got the chance to taste different types of organic foods, such as Hibiscus Flower. look at the plate. The "food" in color of red is Hibiscus. It is wrapped with a piece of leaf and a petal of Hibiscus indicus (Burm. f.) Hochr. Sorry for being too jargon over the name of flower. Well, in Mandarin, we called it as 芙蓉花. The blackie soil-alike food is bean sprouts-alike v...

An Adventurous Ubin Trip

2009, 14 th June Sunday it is the very first time I went to Pulau Ubin . It was great going there. Every thing seen to be that interesting to me. I have never explored an island in a single day. Or perhaps even in my whole life. The sun was slightly too strong to my liking but the scenery was not too bad. I was surrounded by numbers of lakes and hectares of trees, particularly durian trees ++". Groups of elder visitors went to there to collect free durian while I was there to cycling. with a strong spirit of adventure, the Pelangians were set off to Pulau Ubin by a boat ride after lunch. Each of us had to pay S$2.50 for the boat fare. It took us 5 to 10 minutes to reach the island. without any further delay, we rent our bicycle and started our adventurous journey in no time. To be frank, I have forgotten the very last time I had a bicycle ride before this. Thus, I was a bit nervous at first. After a few rounds of practices, I was getting on well at cycling gradually. we manage...
