The Making of Cashew Nuts

the January of year 2010 has finally come to the end. Time and tide wait for no man. I was toiling over the seemingly never-ending work in this entire month. I could hardly get the free time to have the lunch at around 3 or 4 o'clock in every working days. And the sleeping time was insufficient too. Ain't you know, got not enough resting could actually speed up the process of ageing? Thus, both of the bad habits are considered bad for health indeed. So I decided to make a change. In the month of February, I wanna lead a more healthier lifestyle. No matter how busy the work it is, I must be punctual for the lunch and always have myself enough rest. Otherwise... NO WORK!! throughout the month of January, the tiredness has accumulated day after day. Sleep, seems to be the only method to get rid of the fatigue feeling. So yesterday, after came back from work at around 5 o'clock in the evening, I had the lunch-cum-dinner and took a shower and got myself into bed in two hours la...

Cheelicious... Fresh Baked Cheesecake

there are some stories behind the cheesecake in my life. Neither a touching story nor a adventure story, but the luxurious scandals of mine. As I look back now, it is definitely nothing to proud of. Hmmm... I was once a teenager who almost led astray during my secondary school life. Besides of tactically skipped the class and hid myself in the counselling room, I did something bad behind the parents' eyes. I took the student grant and tuition fee and spent the parents' hard-earned money in high tea. I even lied to the parents and got myself a tuition job with a low salary of RM100 in order to increase the budget of having high tea at those bakeries.  However, they are parts of the experiences which I never ever want to erase them from my memory, even if I am clearly understand that they are exactly the bad examples for the youngsters to follow. After all, look back is another symptom of ageing. last Saturday, See Ling and I went to Cheelicious to have our supper. It was a g...

Meiji Porte Hokkaido Milk Candies

spent hours in preparing the duty roster board and some decorations for the class. 90% of the work had been completed. Left the work of cutting, laminating and organizing. I do not want to repeat the same thing next year, as the reason of my arts and craft skills are still lacking, so most of the work are done for extra durability. ~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~** couple days ago, I got a box of so-called Meiji Porte Hokkaido Milk Candies (in fact... it looks more like chocolate ++") along with several others Japanese candies and chocolates courtesy of my ex-student, Ma Ki. They could be considered as the souvenirs bought by the family after traveled to Japan last holidays. I did not taste any one of the others lovely-packaged candies and chocolates, but shared them with the colleagues. The 'lil box of Meiji Candies and a pencil case are the only two items I kept for myself among the souvenirs. unlike the Meltykiss Chocolate , the Meiji Candy has a unique shape w...

Laksa Shack

laksa is a popular spicy noodle soup from Peranakan culture ( Baba & Nyonya ). No matter you are a chinese, malay or indian, most of us love it. And me too. In M'sia, there are various types of laksa . For instances, Johor Laksa, Kelantan Laksa, Penang Laksa, Sarawak Laksa, and so on. All of them have their special flavor respectively. However, are we gonna have those laksa by travelling to different states? Do not be silly. There is a local laksa specialist restaurant which sells all these types of  laksa . It is known as Laksa Shack . Plethora of outlets can be found across this peninsular. last month, Se Xun and I went to one of the outlets which is located in the basement of City Square. Se Xun and I had made our orders respectively after had having a deep thought. Se Xun had ordered Sarawak Laksa . The soup is black in color. Pretty unique but kinda oily as we may seen the oil is all over the surface of soup. The Sarawak Laksa is served in curry-based c...

Cruel Temptation

I just cannot keep my eyes away from the computer monitor recently. I had been so tied up with watching the korean soup opera, Temptation of Wife / Cruel Temptation . I had been watching this drama like crazy at PPS. Until last night, the day before school-reopened, I had finally finished watching the drama. And I would just give it 4.5/5 stars! in Korea, Temptation of Wife was aired on 2008, 3 rd November and ended on 2009, 1 st May. And it is currently airing on Channel U, from 7:00p.m. until 8:00p.m., every weekdays. The story starts off with the pitiable female lead withstanding hardships while living under the same roof as her nasty in-laws, who was later almost drowned by her weak-kneed husband. After going through all that trials and tribulations, she schemes against the obnoxious family of her in-laws, reducing them to a state of bankruptcy...and the story goes on from there. this is an interesting melodrama with a marvelous plot. It infused with cliché themes and ...
