spent hours in preparing the duty roster board and some decorations for the class. 90% of the work had been completed. Left the work of cutting, laminating and organizing. I do not want to repeat the same thing next year, as the reason of my arts and craft skills are still lacking, so most of the work are done for extra durability.

couple days ago, I got a box of so-called Meiji Porte Hokkaido Milk Candies (in fact... it looks more like chocolate ++") along with several others Japanese candies and chocolates courtesy of my ex-student, Ma Ki. They could be considered as the souvenirs bought by the family after traveled to Japan last holidays. I did not taste any one of the others lovely-packaged candies and chocolates, but shared them with the colleagues. The 'lil box of Meiji Candies and a pencil case are the only two items I kept for myself among the souvenirs.
unlike the Meltykiss Chocolate, the Meiji Candy has a unique shape which I have no idea how to describe it ++". But nevertheless they do slightly looked Hershey's Kiss chocolate-alike, or more adorable than Hershey's Kiss. Loved for their unique shape actually. Irresistible temptation of eating it.
Japanese usually emphasize on the packaging of items they want to sell in the market. Obviously it is one of the effective methods of promoting and selling the goods. It always works. No doubt the marketing philosophy does matter. Either Meltykiss or Meiji has its attractive and creative sparky packages to attract the consumers to purchase it. In fact, Meiji has the same concept of packaging with Meltykiss. Only colors differ.
the dummy camera does not know how to differentiate which is the main part to focus on. There is no candies-recognized functional tool for this camera. I think it focused on a wrong object. The thumb in this picture looks more sharper than the candies. Can tehen... ++" Seems like there is a must for me to save money and buy a DSLR camera.
I simply do not understand those Japanese words written on the cover of candies box. Thus, I do not really know the ingredients of making this candies. So what I can do is type out all the ingredients I could tasted and had been seen.
the candy is filled with a finely whipped milky white unknown texture. It could be cream or milk or chocolate. But for sure it is not cheese. This unknown texture is covered with a thin layer of chocolate and an air-infused layer of chocolate cookie at the bottom of it. Supposed the candy is powdered with the cocoa powder as what we could seen from the cover of box, but I did not see any powder on the candy after took it out from the fridge.
frankly speaking, the milky white unknown texture is sort of weirdly textured. Neither creamy or foamy, difficult to describe the taste as it melted on the tongue immediately. The brain was not even ready to react over the impulse. A part that amazed me. Also, the air-infused chocolate cookie impressed me too. The layer is bloody light, soft and airy. It tasted like the chocolate biscuit stick. Trust me, however, it tasted much... much more delicious than the biscuit stick.
overall, this 'lil snack was surprising me with its unique shape and extraordinary taste. Totally different with the Meltykiss. The flavor and great textural combination earns and deserves a recommendation of mine.
