Reminiscence of Year 2009

I cannot believe the holidays is nearly at an end, and today is the last day of year 2009; time flies. as this will be the last post for year 2009, I have decided to reminisce and compile a list of best and worst parts of my life in this year. MOST TRAVELS IN A YEAR   1.   Endau Rompin Summerset Resorts after checked the previous posts, only then realized that I write nothing 'bout the Endau Rompin Summerset Resorts trip. Well, just put it in a simple way, the trip was not fun. Tourists are required to pay for all the activities they wanted to conduct. And they are not cheap. Swimming is the only free-of-charge activity.  2 .   Titi Eco Farm 3.   Pulau Ubin 4.   Batu Cave 5.   Kek Lok Si Temple 6.   Reclining Buddha 7.   Myanmar Temple 8.   Cameron Highlands 9.   Haji Lane, S'pore 10.   Little India TORTURED MAIDEN CAMP camping, sometimes, could be fun or vice versa. This was the very first time the old mama had given th

I think the eating habit is not gonna change wherever I will be. Regardless of the venue, the time, the price, the people... to me, eating is really an important daily activity as a matter of routine. I do mind to spend the hard-earned money on clothes, but never on delicacies. there is a moral value behind today's topic, i.e. When You're Having a Large Portion of Meal and Unable to Finish It...  Think of the South-Africa Children... and Take Your Time to Finish It . on the 23 rd December evening, thanks the cousin, Joo Fei, for bringing us to The Café Cartel to have the remarkably dinner. according to Yee Jin, The Café Cartel is a western cafe-chain based in S'pore. They serves American cuisine which is really generous portion in served. It is kind of similar with the TGI Fridays. Since The Café Cartel operates many of its branches across the S'pore island, so Joo Fei suggested to go to The Plaza Singapura outlet. It is the nearest outlet from Orchard Road.

Is There a Santa Claus?

it was pretty vexing to think of the first sentence I should type in this post. Until I found the news article which was published in the 1897, 21 st September. 'bout a century ago, a father asked his eight-year-old daughter, Virginia O'Hanlon to write a letter to the editor of New York's  Sun  when she had begun to doubt there was a Santa Claus. A nd the quick response was printed in a title of < Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus> . "DEAR EDITOR: I am 8 years old. "Some of my little friends say there is no Santa Claus. "Papa says, 'If you see it in THE SUN it's so.' "Please tell me the truth; is there a Santa Claus? "VIRGINIA O'HANLON. "115 WEST NINETY-FIFTH STREET." VIRGINIA, your little friends are wrong. They have been affected by the skepticism of a skeptical age. They do not believe except [what] they see. They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible by their little minds. All minds

Black & White Photography Contest

although it was raining just now, I feel as fresh as daisy. The current mood is real good. Oh my God... I think you guys are unable to understand how excited I am since last night. hohoho... I am going to have a S'pore X'mas Trip in few hours later. anyway, I found an interesting contest. I think it would be a good news for those photographers. Hmmm... I mean, those photography enthusiasts. this contest is officially open for all the bloggers. All the participants have to submit a photo of themselves in their own bloggie respectively. Try to link your contest entry to the organizer's bloggie. Remember... you can only submit ONE photo. Not to forget, put the entry title as BLACK & WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST . The deadline of this contest is 2009, 25th December. Geez... it means two days later. Never mind. I will try to get some X'mas photos in S'pore later. hohoho... oh yeah, as regards the theme of this contest, the photo must be in black and white. A

It Is Not Easy to Be a Good Planner

it has been a few days after I had completed the maktab training. But only until yesterday, the real holidays for me is just begun. Needless to say, I will not simply letting the time to slip away, especially when I have only less-than-2-weeks of holidays. What should I do during these days? Hohoho... I have numbers of plans actually and hope to work them out as well. Things I Want to Do be a part-time food hunter have a S'pore X'mas trip clean up the messy wardrobe prepare the teaching exercises re-design the school website watch the Korean drama ** ......what else? I'm still figuring out ** meanwhile... Food I Want to Eat Stulang Laut Ikan Bakar Stulang Laut Rojak Jalan Maju Mee Hun Kuey Sizzling Stone Grill Tom Yum Soup Secret Recipe Tom Yum Soup Stulang Laut Sup Cendawan Cheese-licious Cheese Cake Dataran Pisang Goreng ** ......what else? I'm still figuring out too ** in fact, life could be that simple

Fix Them

first of all I shall admit that I have messed my bloggie up. It is really beyond my expectation. Never thought that changing a bloggie template could bring me so much of troubles. As you may seen, the bloggie template has changed utterly. Certain parts are missing and I could not find them back anymore. Meanwhile, some other parts are simply malfunctioned. They do not work things out as what they are supposed to. Geez. I am still figuring out the ways to settle all the problems. It consumes time, actually. Still, I hope to find myself the ways to handle all these unexpected barriers. by the way, the X'mas is just round the corner. Is there any activity during this warmth season of sharing and giving? Hmmm... I plan to go to S'pore Orchard Road to admire the X'mas decoration in the Christmastime. With the hundreds and hundreds of X'mas lightings which are dangling just right above my head, I wish to have an opportunity to go there again and enjoy myself in the Christm

Are You Still With Me?

skipped the dinner and mugged myself on the assignments before the due date. Had spent the whole afternoon on it but I have not complete it yet. And now, purposely want to skive off for a moment of time. hmmm... are you guys still remember my disc-dislocation-right hand ? Well, the current cold-rainy-weather is giving me a trouble. The right wrist is suffering from rheumatism. Numbness. went to Taman Molek on this morning. Gave my 'lil Savvy its first service. Thanks Ong for bringing me to the service centre and was explaining all the infos 'bout car engine. I have learnt a lot from him. was added a Twitter widget in the bloggie just now. Felt that the bloggie looks slightly messy. Hohoho... Wait till I have the time to either rearrange or redesign the template of bloggie. Meanwhile, I found that my bloggie has finally function as a publicity tool for certain units.  trust me, I am feeling freaking excited now. It gives me fresh impetus to blog more. Maybe, as

That's Cafe

how bad the situation would be if a blogger does not feel like to blog anymore? Hmmm... I wondered it. Well, I do hope that I have not yet reach that far 'cuz blogging is the one and only way to point out the things I wanted to share. As the workload is significantly increasing, however, I do feel that updating the post weekly could be considered as one of the tough jobs to be accomplished. Geez. God knows that I am not finding myself an excuse. life seems to be too hectic to me. Most of the time is fully occupied in working. Since the first day I am started to work, gradually I am losing the time of relaxing, reading, and also gourmand-ing. Working could be that scary actually, you see. anyhow, let us see things in scientifically perspective. Living creatures are adaptable to new circumstances. Otherwise we might be easily eliminated by the environment. And this concept applies on humans being too, particularly I myself. Although I am pretty upset over the fact that I am unable to

Briefly

just finished the lunch. It is 3.28pm now. Gonna have a tuition class an hour later. Simply want to occupy this half an hour in blogging before I am going to shower for the next half an hour. recently I am too busy in both school tasks and the seemingly never ending assignments. That explains why I have had turn into a lazy blogger whom seldom update her posts all these while. Too busy to do it. Due to this reason, I would like to have a briefly report 'bout the recently-happened matters, so that people out there would not think that I have already vanished into the air. went to search for the THAT'S CAFE which is located in Jalan Dobi . Wondered where else should I go when I want to organize a gathering next time. Went to Summerset Resort which is located in Kuantan couple days ago. Not to forget the Banafee Village. All these are the places I had been recently. Will post in details when I am freaking hell free. But definitely not now. More accurately, not in the November. til

Year 6 Graduation Trip 2009 EP 3

Day 3, Genting Highlands the fun never stops at Genting, the City of Entertainment. The First World outdoor or indoor theme park and the only casino in Malaysia are the most popular attractions to attract the locals and foreigners to visit. I love Genting too. However, neither the theme park nor casino attracts me. Instead, I love its "European" weather very much. It is cool and breezy all the time. in order to enjoy the weather at the 2000 altitude Genting, you have to take a tram. Hmmm... I do not like it actually. As you looking down from the tram, it is really bloody hell horrifying. 2 years ago, that was the very first time I went to Genting Highland Outdoor Theme Park. Due to my youthfulness, I had challenged the Flying Coaster. It is a unique hand-gliding roller coaster. 2 years later, I did not re-challenge it for a simple reason: I AM AGEING. The heart could not take it. in the end, the colleagues and I went to challenge the another ride, i.e. Pirate Ship. who says i

dudes and babes... it is really not a bad idea to have 3 differently internet browsers in your desktop. Trust me. For your information, I am simply a Google addict. I prefer all the service which are provided by Google. That is including the Google Chrome. Meanwhile, the two brothers are the fans of Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer respectively. It explains why there are 3 types of internet browsers in the desktop. Well, back to the topic. Why is it good to have 3 internet browser in the desktop? And I am gonna explain it now. Somehow, I could not log in this bloggie via Google Chrome as well as Internet Explorer too. After hours of try-out and failure, I have decided to give the Mozilla Firefox a try. And thank God, it works. Thus, I can nagging at here. hmmm... well, for the rest of the contents, I am gonna change the language to Mandarin. Sorry for that. Just 'cuz of I wanted to type something in Mandarin that much today. And here we go... ~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~** 老实说

Yew's Cafe

The Symptoms of Ageing behave like a Cinderella : you would not want to spend the sleeping hours in yum cha -ing with friends until the next morning. be a walker instead of jogger : strolling around the park is better while jogging around seems to be a hard job to you. oil-free : bid farewell to the fried chicken and consume the oil-free healthy food. say "NO" to fast food as well as junk food. I had a wonderful day yesterday. Besides of spending the time in doing something as a matter of routine, it was fun to be with the Pelangians. Thank God for sharing it with me. Last night, some of the Pelangians were having a gathering at Yew's Cafe , where it is located at the ground floor of Menara MAA building. It is a new place to me. It looks glamorous and the cozy ambiance is one of its strongest selling-points. All the ornaments are in an apple-pie order. After all, it is not a kopitiam where you can raise your voice and say something like this --> "DIK, AIR SUAM S

Year 6 Graduation Trip 2009 EP 2

I am ageing. The shoulder pain is ailing me now. And the troubled heart is not yet fully-recover from the side-effect of coughing. Poor me. not going to work on tomorrow. Instead, I am assigned to take part in a Bengkel Laman Web which is organized by Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah on tomorrow morning. Thanks to Ling Fang and En. Jamal for sketching the road map and were giving a detailed explanation. By having both of their info, I was managed to find the location with old mama just now. The place is somewhere nearby the Petronas building. That was really the very first time I drove to somewhere that far away from where I am currently stay. Hopefully tomorrow morning I am able to travel here and there alone safely. ~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~** Day 2, Kuala Lumpur & Selangor this was the second day of the trip. After the breakfast, we went to the National Monument. Again, I was been there before. It is best to visit when the weather is not that hot as you could not find any shelter at th
