Renee's Here

did I ever tell you guys that one of my relatives has came to JB? Well, I think the answer would be NOPE... ++" okay, let me introduce... here she is -- my cousin Renee, origin from Kampar, and has married to a guy from Sabah. So to be accurately, she is currently staying in Sabah with her newly-wed-husband.  does she look beautiful? hohoho... Yes, she looks more prettier after her wedding. I did attend to her wedding ceremony last November. Time flies.  the cousin was arrived in JB on couple days ago. She and her friend are gonna stay at my house for 'bout 5 days. They come here to attend a Christianity class. By coincidence, the class is conducted at the church (Holy Light) where I used to go to. Somehow it seems like Heavenly Father has sending two angels for me. They could help me in persuading the old mama to accept Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. This is what I always asked for in my prayer. And now I am waiting for a miracle happens ( =. the cousin has a pretty ti...

Not From the School of Design

this invitation card is another piece of my work. How talented I am, isn't it? hohoho... hmmm... although I am pretty proud of my work, but I was only in charged of designing template. Those information was typed and quote was sought by the other colleagues. this is not the first time I was given the task of designing the invitation cards. Those invitation cards that I had designed included Graduation Ceremony, Malam Citra Budaya , Year-End Ceremony and not to forget the special events. Too bad the flash drive was "infected" by the virus and I lost all my data in the flash drive, otherwise I could show all the pieces of work here. Yes, I spent quite some time in designing all these invitation cards. And guess what... people might think that it is an easy job, but in fact, they were not.  I am not a student from school of design, nor a savvy Adobe users, but seems like the school management has always put a high expectation on me. This explains why I am always assigned...

Love One Another

today is Good Friday. how I wish I could be at home and stay away from the work. A day like this... supposes to be the day to stay at home and revise what the Son of God has done for us. His commandment to us after He is gone -- LOVE ONE ANOTHER . on this Good Friday, most of the Christians remember a man who changed all of history by dying on the cross, a vulnerable, unadorned man. In fact, the very Son of God had made His way to a broken and wounded world. He chose to live with among people that did not understand Him at all. And in the end, He was humiliated and wounded for our transgressions and even crucified on the cross for our iniquities. Yeah, He did a choice. He could of taken himself off that cross at any given time. However, he chose not to. He chose to be vulnerable, exposed, and powerless. But three days later, he was rose from death after the crucifixion. Jesus the Good Shepherd who emptied himself on Friday to give us eternal victory on Sunday....

We're Part of It

how many of you took part in the Earth Hour campaign? Well my answer will be partly-participated. At least I did shut down the computer and turned off some lights in the house at 2030 hour sharp. How 'bout you? to me, the Heavenly Father has given us a precious gem. And we know, all of us know that the gem is so unique in the entire universe. Simply irreplaceable. You can never find a substituter. Yeah, it is the Earth. The one and only. Looks glamorous than any other planets. Take your time in watching the video  if you are not in a hurry at all. Try to understand the Earth. See what exactly She has done for us. And realize how cruelty we are in hurting and harming Her all these while. I love the Earth. My home. There is nowhere better than here. There are plethora of treasures I have found in here. And now... it comes to the time we have to return something for Her, instead of asking for more. We shall be thankful for having that much. Try to change our lifestyle for the E...

I'm Only a Human

I am not sure whether if I have a number of faithful readers. But I am fairly sure that I would gradually losing my readers if I do not update my post anymore. obviously before this, most of the time was occupied by work and tasks. Finally I got myself a chance to take a breather now. Wanted to jog just now. But it ended up shopping with old mama.  I should get myself closer to the nature. Life is too hard for me. It always does. Nay, it makes me feel like to run away from reality so badly. Note, I am only a human... hmmm... well, I should stop yammering on, particularly when it is gonna have no changes after all. It is time to be in bed. Story will be continued on tomorrow... See ya my faithful readers.

Korean Barbecue Bulgogi

a week ago, when most of us were still enjoying in the Lunar New Year holidays, the Pelangians went to a Korean restaurant which is located in Taman Pelangi . They wanted to indulge themselves after all the difficulties they had went through in the previous year. I have forgotten the name of restaurant. But it is owned by the Koreans. Apparently there are many Koreans start their businesses in Pelangi area. Luckily I know one or two Korea words, so that I could "show off" a bit of what I have learnt. To name a few,  감사합니다 ( " gam sa ham ni da " --  thank you) and 안녕하세요 (" An nyeong ha se yo " -- hello). we had actually ordered the sets of Korea barbecue Bulgogi (grilled marinated beef and pork). As we known, the Korea cuisine are noted for the numbers of side dishes ( banchan ) and not to forget the kimchi , which is usually served at every single meal. Korea cuisine usually involves rich seasoning sesame oil. And indeed it riches the flavors of Kor...

72 Tenants of Prosperity

frankly speaking in past hours, I was thinking back to the day I watched a movie with the family members. It is kinda an old story as I could not even remember the movie title. But I am sure it was a Hong Kong movie. After so many years, I gained the opportunity to bring the old mama to cinema again in order that we could watch a lame Lunar New Year movie, i.e. 72 Tenants of Prosperity 72家租客  (abbreviated to "72 Tenants") . well, it is just another Lunar New Year movie which is fulled of senseless jokes. Still, it is considered as a great movie to watch during this festival season. Or at least you should trust the words of a sophisticated movie reviewer. according to the old mama, the 72 Tenants is loosely based on the '70s film, The House of 72 Tenants 72家房客  (abbreviated to "House"). And House was a great movie in '70s (at least Yves Gendron said so...). It was originally a stage comedy created in Shanghai in '40s and set in that city. This expla...
