a typical human who cannot work under stress, so she decided to give herself a break yesterday. A day for her, she herself. Run away from the load of work. To breath freely.
no doubt about it. I was the one who tried to escape temporarily from the circumstance I am currently in now. Somehow I had completed 2 of the Maktab's assignments, and there are numbers still awaiting for me. As a part time learner, I am struggling in managing the time. To cope with the work and studies wisely.
it had been weeks I never jog. So, went to jog with Pei Fang yesterday morning at 0700 hour. Then we had the breakfast together after the jog. At around 1130 hour, the elder brother drove Tze Wei and I to the Sultan Iskandar Custom, Immigration and Quarantine Complex. Yeah, I was off to S'pore again. That was definitely the first time I walked into the building. It is so beautiful inside, especially in the night, when all the lightings are on. Wow, that is Johor new custom. Much much much huge and glamorous than the old one.
Tze Wei was the tour guide. He showed me the paths of entering the new custom which is labyrinth-alike ++". Unlike the old custom, you have to walk alot in the new one. And we used the e-system to get through the checkpoints. Anyhow, to whom dreads of malfuntions of e-system, seems these kinda incidents happen in M'sia frequently, they may stick to the old regulation, queue up and wait for the officers to stamp the passbook.
after that, both of us travelled by bus and MRT to our destination Little India. We met up with the cousin at Little India MRT Station. Why Little India? 'cuz of the festival of Thaipusam? 'cuz wanna explore it? 'cuz it is recommended by a colleague? Hmmm... may I choose all the answers above? hohoho...
I did not do some surveys before going to Little India, so we ended up walked around the streets and tried to search for some Indian delicacies. Meanwhile, took some photos, hohoho...
we found an Indian restaurant. We had the lunch at there. The boss and the waiter are so-Indian. Hardly to understand their spoken english. It was so-Indian too. With certain body languages and the aid of menu, we were sucessfully make an order. All Briayani sets. Mutton Briayani @ S$5 for the cousin. Egg Briayani @ S$4.50 for Tze Wei. And Chicken Briayani for I myself.
one bowl of rice as the bottom layer, chicken meat/mutton and a boiled egg put right above the layer, and then covered wrapped it with another bowl of rice. Even me, as a rice-eater could not finish it. Geez. It is so much in served.
the overall taste wise is so-so to me. However, I suggest people to give the Mutton Briayani a try. It is more tastier than the chicken. I mean it.
of course my S'pore trip was not come to the end just like that. 3 of us went to Queenstown after that. Window-shopping... until nightfall.
