until 10th Oct, 101 outlets in M'sia. One of the high quality M'sian products. And even won the prestigious Golden Bull Award 2007. I think it is fairly mortified to talk 'bout my first visiting of Old Town White Coffee House on last Monday, Hari Raya Haji.
as I mentioned earlier, I went to yum cha with Zhi Wen on Monday night, at Old Town White Coffee House. The first time indeed. Although the outlet is just located at a corner of Plaza Sentosa, that near to my house, but I never been there before that night. So... LAME.
I am neither a coffee enthusiast nor a coffee lover, but there is no other hot beverage I could found in the menu, in the end I had ordered a cup of hot Hazelnut White Coffee to sample. Luckily the caffeine effect never work on me. Ever.
Hazelnut White Coffee, unlike the other coffee drinks, the Old Town's really tasted different. Fragrant and smooth. Probably due to the hazelnut, the coffee smelled good and delicious. Yet, it is better to finish it before it turns cool.
Old Town's Nasi Lemak was strongly recommended by Zhi Wen, however I did not order it as I had had my dinner an hour before going out. But I still ordered Kaya Toast...as dessert ++".
crispy at the outer layer and softer texture, in between is the Old Town's kaya... it was sweetness-ly good. But needed a lot more kaya flavor to make it great.
it was a pleasant night with Zhi Wen. Appreciate for sharing and exchanging his Maktab experiences with me.
