Taste of Memory

it was all started from the Sunday evening jogging...


due to the reason that I had to prepare the dinner before 7pm, the Pelangians (Nyang, Low and Jia Hui) agreed to jog at 5pm instead of 6pm. They are all thoughtful, ain't they? However, Low was late and it made us departed from his house at around 5.45pm. ++" After couple rounds of running, we had to rush back home since the dinner must be prepared before 7pm. So 3 of them just back to home with me.


in order to introduce the restaurant to the Pelangians, I took the risk to bring them there. 'course I was not the one who drove. But I was the one who showed them the paths. I am not good in remembering the roads particularly somewhere far away, for instance Perling.


Bambino, a restaurant I had been there before. And 'course I did mentioned it in my posts.


in the older post, there are only a few dishes were introduced by me. So I am gonna introduce more in this post.


I did mentioned in my older post that the chicken chop could be much tastier if there is any special sauces to dip with. And I was completely right once after I had tasted the Bambino Chicken Chop. The not-too-thick-orange-juice-made sauce was on the top of chicken chop, adding flavour to the fairly tasteless and yet pretty juicy chicken chop.



in addition, that is the biggest difference in between the Bambino Chicken Chop and Chicken Katsu or I called it Sliced Chicken Chop in the older post.



not to forget, there was rich fragrant of herbs came from the sauce. However, the fries which served along with the dish is considered a failure. Tasteless as its potato flavour was totally disappeared.

the next dish, B'Mac Cheese Pasta and Smoothies Mango, were ordered by Low. I did not taste it as Low had almost finished the dish. So... no comment for it. BUT, the dish looks appetizing. ( =





on the other hand, Jia Hui ordered the most common dish, Fish and Chips and also the Mango Passion. Strong flavour of herbs for Fish and Chips. I think that is the only way to make the dish becomes a little bit more unique than the others. And the beverage of Mango Passion was slightly tasted sweetness for both of us.





finally the last and most expensive dish in fours, Creamy Dory. The dish was look great from the photo in menu, and it really looked appetizing when the waiter served it to Nyang. Though it looked great, but the taste was pretty disappointing.





first of all, the chef had chose the freshwater fish as the main ingredient. The freshwater fish has an odour which the cooks have to remove it before it is served. So I would say that it is a little bit harder to cook the fish if compared with saltwater fish. That said. Obviously the Bambino's chef failed to do it well. The sauce was totally unable to cover the odour of freshwater fish. And somehow, it tasted like the chinese-restaurant-steamed-fish which we could taste it everywhere. Moreover, the fish was not as fresh as I expected. Marks to be deducted.

besides the Chicken Katsu, Low also had ordered another side dish, Onion Rings. Well, it was really ONION. And due to the reason of it was too ONION, I did not eat much. Indeed I had only consumed a piece of it.




overall the dishes were considered so-so to me. Still, there is no harm to try the food, particularly the chicken chop.

feel rejoice to eat with the Pelangians. Though they would urge me to eat more faster just as the others did, still I do feel great to dine-in with them. Though there is a bracer in my mouth, difficult to chew, especially my chewing look is freaking hell ugly, eating is still my best leisure activity. =D

2019年11月28日…… 本来会是他的生日。或许是胎教太成功,或许是太喜欢游泳,或许有太多的或许,他并没有按照医生的计划来到这个世界上,而选择继续与我脐带相连。 超出预产期其实没带给我太多困扰,但也不免会疑惑怎么都没有临产征兆。说实在的,我挺喜欢胎动的奇妙感觉。那种只有身为妈妈才能体会到的感觉,那么的独一无二,多么的无人能取代。倘若可以,我倒希望他们继续待在我的肚子里。相信我,倘若可以……! 距离预产期已经超过了3天,毫无临产症状。我依照医生之前的指示,在第四天,也就是2019年12月1日,回到政府诊所复诊。当天风光明媚,我的心情也相当愉悦。专门跟进我的孕况的护士见到我后,免不了好奇地问:“Belum bersalin ke?” 在政府诊所看诊讲求的是耐心,等上一、两个小时是再寻常不过的事。好不容易,轮到我时,医生细心地为我照了超声波,随后表示腹中的羊水有些过多,建议我立即到中央医院进行详细检查。我们夫妻俩并没有因为医生的话而感到慌张。相反地,我们还能够一家三口先到附近餐馆填饱肚子,再将大儿子寄放在外婆家后,才前往中央医院。与大儿子挥别的那一刻,大约是下午二时,我始终都没料到那晚我会回不了家。 抵达了中央医院,还是离不开“等”。漫长的两小时后,终于轮到我接受检查。基于上一胎所留下的阴影,我对内检产生了莫名的恐惧,心中不断地祈祷希望不会遇上需要内检的情况。很幸运地,我进行了几项检测,独缺内检这个部分,心想:我逃过了这劫。然而我却被要求留院观察。这个消息对我而言简直晴天霹雳。 话说回来,我在中央医院进行产检并非第一次,但在那栋古色古香,建于一世纪以前的建筑物里进行检测倒是头一遭。我坐在轮椅上,年轻的华裔男医生缓缓地推着我,身旁还跟着一名孕妇。她和我一样是要去接受检查的,可待遇就大大不同了。 *暗爽*   或许是我太重了,或许是产房到照超声波的地点位置距离太远了,或许有太多的或许,医生推得有些上气不接下气。他那喘吁吁的样子还挺逗趣的,尤其是要通过无数扇沉甸甸的门,一边要使劲儿地把门推开,一边还得顾上这名体重接近 70kg 的待产妇和另一名孕妇。那名医生也算得上是了不起了。 年轻医生将我转介给另一名印裔专科医生后便先行离开。看着眼前地板数不尽的绿色小砖块、陈旧的建筑风格以及完全搭不上调的高科技仪器,我仿佛置身于电影情节里所谓的秘密基地,准备进行一些不可告人的科学试...
