Day 3, 13rd June 2008
******************************
it was the last day in Kampar. The old mama and I had to come back to JB since she had to work and I had a tutorial on two days later.
basically, nothing much we did on that day. On the morning, the Uncle Long brought us to have our breakfast. It was a dim sum restaurant. Well, if you have the chance to travel in Perak, you must try one of the famous local delicacies, dim sum. They are completely different with JB's, and of course much more tastier~!! I love the ha gao aka prawn dumplings very much, as the fresh shrimps are provided and of course the price is that cheap.
after the breakfast, we went to Big Aunt's house. Uncle Apollo and Aunt Kam did come along too, with her little grandson. It was like an elders gathering. So I turned to be a temporary nanny of the child.
we spent hours at there and returned back to Uncle Long's house on the evening. Then we packed our luggages. Soon, time to leave. The Cousin Karen and her boyfriend brought us to have the dinner before we departed.
this is a bowl of fish porridge. The customers have to put in the raw fish by themselves. You may see how fresh the sliced fish are. And the cutting skill of cook is really fantastic. Every single sliced of fish meat is equally thin. Do not worry that the fich meat might not be cooked 'cuz it was still warm until I finished the porridge. Do not forget, I am a freaking hell slow-eater, as what my friends always said.
besides the porridge, we ordered the Cuttle Fish with Kangkong too. However, in Kampar, those residents are much prefer to cook the Cuttle Fish with Paku Choy. Well, what is Paku Choy?
it is the fern shoots. The school canteen auntie introduced it to me, that is why I know and familiar with it. Different with Kangkong, the Paku Choy is more tastier. You will not feel disgusting even if you are eating too much, 'cuz the leaves on it are not that much. And the stem of Paku Choy is really tasty and refreshing. Nice to try, I must say.

woke up early in this morning. Went to jogging with colleagues. And now is a little bit of tired. Supposed to go to S'pore today, but the friends are all unavailable. Too bad. Anyway, I shall just spend the time in completing my assignment since the due date is near the corner. Wish me luck.
