I had been away from JB on 30th and 31th May. To have a simple 2-days-vacation with the colleagues.
Day 1, 30th May.
I reached the school compound with the accompany of Guardian Angel at around 0640. As we waited for the arrival of travel bus, those aunties were 38-ing as usual. Oh yeah, except the 4 children, I was the youngest traveller among them. And the others are at-least-40-year-old aunties, besides of the 30-year-old Yu Shuang. We departed for Klang at around 0700. It was a 4-hours-journey to the destination. Meanwhile, some of us were either chatting or watching DVD. We reached Klang at lunch time. Since we were in Klang, how could we just miss the most famous local delicacy in Klang? And of course Klang Bak Kut Teh was our lunch meal.
well, it was slighly disappointed me as it was not the famous Klang Dried Bak Kut Teh. Still, the Klang Bak Kut Teh I had actually consumed was truly appetizing. It is apparent from JB Bak Kut Teh that the meat they have chosen.
and I do prefer Klang's, to be honest. Wondered the big and tender meat is cut from which region of pig. Not to forget, the soup. Yeah, the soup was alike with the Bak Kut Teh which is just located two-streets-far-away from my house. However, the Klang's was slighly salty to me. Perhaps it is related to the favour of Klang's. Or it is common taste for all the residents of Northern Peninsular Malaysia, i.e. SALTY.

after the lunch, we went to 2 temples. Okay, since I am inconvenient to enter those temples, so I just stayed in the bus with few aunties and shot for some videos while waited for the returning of others. Meanwhile, we chatted 'bout our common religious matters. After all the temples visiting, it was still early to go to the Klang jetty. So the driver brought us to Klang Jusco to shopping. There was an accident happened when we were on the way to our next destination. A Indian motorcyclist was knocked down by a female motorist. It was really a dramatic event. And God blessed, the bus was able to brake in the nick of time, otherwise the Indian might die under the wheels of travel bus which was so near to him. However, the victim was injured. And I have exactly no idea how serious it could be as the victim was in conscious condition.
okay, back to the main topic. We reached Jusco at around 1430. And aunties were busy in their shopping while I am too bored of this kind of activity. Well, it may sound odd if females do not like to shopping, but I am absolutely the weirdo. As the time was ticked by, I was like a zombie, walked around in Jusco. An hour later, the Guardian Angel wanted to give me a simple treat, so we walked to Lavender to buy some pastries.
soon, it was time to go to the jetty. We took the fully air-conditional boat to Pulau Ketam, our main travel venue.
the boat ticket is RM7 for adults. It took half an hour to reach the island. Pulau Ketam, literally translated "Crab Island", is a fishing village. The fishing village is basically a whole community living on wooden island. The houses and pedestrian way are all made of wood, particularly before 1990's. Despite of it, few houses are still made of wood now. And all of the houses and pedestrian way are all built on stilts. In other words, you may see the tiny crabs under your feet during the low tide.

after we had clean up ourselves, it was almost time to have our dinner.
seafood steamboat! Our dinner of the day. Well, I was in the paradise of seafood as Pulau Ketam is an island renowned for its fresh seafood. After the dinner, mahjong and sing K sessions are provided for those aunties. And I was just simply went to buy some local products with the Guardian Angel. And soon, I was back to my room with kilos of local products. Without any hesitated, I was tidy up my luggage to make sure that I am managed to carry all the things back. It was at around 2200... and I was ready to get into bed.

Day 2, 31st May.
woke up at 0630 to prepare myself for the breakfast. Probably the island is truly rich of seafood, you could find shrimps inside the fried mee hoon and even the nasi lemak too. Bravo. Okay, after the breakfast, we went to explore the island with the accompany of local tour guide. Before we left Pulau Ketam, we had our last meal at there. Needless to say, it was a seafood feast again. And I found the LaLa there quite fascinating. Juicy, fresh, chewy, and not to forget, big in size, totally unlike those JB's.
