this's the Italian food I'd been eaten on the last Sun evening, with Xun
whom gonna unavailable during the CNY period.
an Italian seafood pasta in color of black.
and I guess you dudes knowing why is it black,
so just skip the crappy explanation here.
that was the second time I'd spent my time in an Italian restaurant.
my maiden voyage to the Italian restaurant was 'bout 5-6 years ago,
with TSL in the blue and white secondary school uniforms.
that was the very first time we went for a high-tea in such of high-class western restaurant,
which is located at Stulang Laut.
and its Garlic Bread has left me an unforgetable impression...
back to our main topic,
the pasta,
made by the squid ink,
that's why it looked black (to be exact, it looked grey)
...regardless of the dimly lighting
with the common decorations in every cafe or restaurant,
there's not much I can comment on it.
short of creativity,
had made me looked forward to their food.
according to Xun, due to the squid ink,
the pasta tasted slightly salty,
and smell fishy (to me).
anyhow I believe the salty flavour could be accepted by all of us.
garlic and olive oil,
the essential seasoning ingredients that Italian can't live without.
they brings the food to be more tasty and particularly appetizing...
however,
compared with the truly Italian chef's cookings,
IL GIARDINO is obviously trying to cater to the Malaysians' tastes.
in order to stimulate your tastebuds,
with pinch of cheese powder or chili powder,
the pasta would turned into another flavour.
still,
the original is the best.
IL GIARDINO
an Italian restaurant which located in Pelangi,
just opposite the Niniq bistro bakery.
the prices for the food are considered reasonable and affordable.
the Tiramusu,
strongly recommended by the restaurant.
properly I'll give it a try on the next time. ( =
